Inertia
Went to Pike Place area on Tuesday, witnessed the fish throwing, visited the first Starbucks and tried the fantastic clam chowder as well as the cheese cake. Shopped around University Village in the evening, a pretty far walk from Pat's Place.
Ran in the morning on Wednesday with Dobson, the disparity is too great. I cannot catch up. Breathing in cold air is a new experience, and the difficulty is not in the stamina/energy but the breathing. You don't really feel any air going into your lungs, and I was panting rather heavily almost all the time... Went to Pike Place AGAIN in the afternoon with the lao laos, brought them around since they were absent the previous trip. Visited the legendary Krispy Kreme in the evening, and the doughnuts tasted sooooo good. Especially the original glazed heh. Following that was Space Needle area, although we didn't stay till the countdown to the new year. It was done in cosy Li Cheng's room instead ha.
Ran again, with Dobson and Janice. Much better run after covering myself in a thicker layer. We thought shops aren't open on New Year Day, and thus spent the entire day cooking. Lunch took 4 hours, don't question the efficiency as I do not have the answer as well ha. Visited CK's gang at Lee's Plaza in the evening, and realised their apartment is so much better compared to ours. Sometimes, things that went wrong might actually be a blessing in disguise humph.
Fish throwing is simply for showmanship =)
First Starbucks, brown logo!
At the Chowder store.
Fantastic. The bread sux though.
At the famous Cheesecake store.
Very expensive cheesecakes, but extremely delicious.
Way to Krispy Kreme, located at a super secluded near-trains area..
Go on and be jealous =P
Only the original glazed is good imo. The assorteds are comparable.
4-hour lunch. Period.
